Your retreat is hosted in a cozy home settled amid the peace and quiet of a country setting (20 minutes north of Port Perry), allowing you to reconnect with your essence, spirit and soul. Your day begins with shedding the outside you and returning to the genuine you with a meditation and some breathing exercises.
After a discussion on the day’s topic and with journal exercises in hand you are free to find a comfy place to start your day’s journaling journey (you might want to bring your slippers). Perhaps a rocking chair on the front porch, or a seat by the fire pit. Please note that silence is observed during all writing time.
We will reconvene several times during the day to share, ask questions and receive additional exercises that are designed to take you deeper in your journey.
Refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the day and a hearty homemade lunch will be provided. You may choose to engage with your fellow journal writers for lunch, or find a nook to continue your silence. We will end the day sharing insights and reflecting on the journaling process.
